Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Admin has the keys to the castle so to speak.  Global moderators are the 'gang of five' from the old forum that may occasionally have to don the sheriffs badge.  Board moderators are volunteers that accepted the challenge to help out in specific boards (building and repair, sport kites, single line kites, quad line kites and beginners corner) where they are more of a host than traditional moderator (if I could come up with a better title I'd use it).

That's good...no one shot the deputy Smiley

I fully appreciate the ability of trees to attract kites. They have special powers that way.

There is a thread on the Skate in this same section (focus' smaller single line kite that is great for indoors)....i have pictures in it....(love my Skate!)...as far as i am aware the Manta -11' Skate- has not been released yet for public consumption.....

honestly there is a new forum out there that might have taken some of the bigger kites threads....
but...what threads do you want to start? what do you want to know? question? etc.....

I was fishing Rob for Manta pics mostly, the good folks from N.C. sent me some info on them (Manta) and I figured the first batch owners of them would be right around here most likely.  Cool
Very nice new one they are building out on the east coast.

Oh I looked at the picasa pics of yours also...nice.
I just found the pic posting window, that should make posting them real easy.
