One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

My wife and I just finished dinner celebrating 30 years of marriage. Still can't believe she hasn't kicked me out yet.

We got hitched in Oregon, and used to head to the coast every weekend. Lincoln City, Seaside, Rockaway, spent quite a bit of time in Catch the Wind shops.

She loves the ocean and the coast, but when we go nowadays I start flying at sunrise then when she gets up I pack up and we spend the day doing other stuff. She does enjoy watching the stacks fly, and can fly herself. We were in Mexico in January and she claimed a Luna Moth as her own and flew for a short time. But she did man the camera for action shots

Congrats, Mike! So, what were you doing back on the forum after dinner?  Wink

Our 30th is in October, right smack in the middle of AKA, which is why I'm not going this year.  Cheesy We enjoy the OR coast very much, too, and it's become our annual vacation spot. While Nora doesn't fly multi-line, she has picked up a few SLKs to fly while she reads on the beach. I get to fly then.   Kiss

Congrats to you and the wife Mike.  Cindy and I will be celebrating our 30th in Sept.  Quite possibly spending the weekend in Lincoln City where all this kite flying stuff started 17 years ago coincidentally on our anniversary trip.  How time flies.......
