One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

May I suggest Never-Never land.

It's one of my favorite fairy tale lands.  Smiley

Is there a significant difference between Tattoo SUL and Fearless SUL?

One is all black!  Smiley  I think there are the same except for the sail obviously - its a stylistic thing.

The SUL is very flexible regarding tail weight and the lower spreaders.  Many folks also fly with a 3pt LS.

I am sure that the physics of the appliqued sail versus pin-holed sail are different, but I think perhaps only Lam himself could detect it.   Like I mentioned, swapping out the LS or especially adding more tailweight will yield a more noticeable difference in my experience.

Yep, that is why I get both 2pt and 3pt bottom spreaders.  Actually, it is lam's suggestions.  So, I kind of like having three kites but paying only the price of two.

Hey, that would be fun! We'd have to figure out a good halfway point.

Cesar Chavez Park or South Beach work for you ?

Oh man, aside from the long drive for you, wouldn't the winds in those places be too much for the SULs? I'm up for it if that's the way you want to go. Hmm.... how about let's take this to PM? Seems we done hijacked poor Rudy's thread. Sorry about that.

I have this Fearless flown from 1mph to about 12mph of wind and all I want to say is that this SUL is beyond my expectation.  If the wind is not too low, this kite can do all the tricks the Fearless Vented Light can do.  I am very happy with it. Rolling cascade,  yoyo-multi lazys, jacob ladder,  comete etc not a problem at all.  I wonder if there is any other SUL kite that can do the same.

Hard to get much lower than 1mph wind.  Wink

So far, I've found nothing that goes lower that I would rather fly.
