Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Despite the weather forecast, the 5 1/2 hr drive, and the lack of funds, I'm packing up to head to Enid.  A first-timer has to find out right? I've only been to one other kite gathering and while small it got me hooked.
I realize I may not get to do most of the things I want (due to financial limitations) But hopefully will get to meet ,face to face, some of the people I've "met" on the kite forums.  And maybe get some slack line pointers.
I'm from an area that has minimal kite presence at best. In a town of near 200k population, there is not a sport kite available above beginner level. I'VE LOOKED ALL OVER TOWN! Thank goodness for the internet.
Anyhoo I want to take my flying to the next level and maybe ,in Enid, I can find which breeze to follow next.
