One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Wondering if you are getting together this weekend? We're going to be in the area camping for the 3 day weekend, might throw in a kite or two.

Yes, our Fun Fly in Crescent City, CA is this weekend.  Usually there are more people there on Saturday than Sunday.  We'll be at South Beach.  Hope to see you there.  Grin

Hopefully, I usually like to get an early start (after sunset & before daybreak) but it is a 4 hour drive and I'm easily distracted by "What's up that road?" and there's a lot of scenery between here & there. Sure would enjoy meeting up with you guys though. Sorry we're going to miss the local crowd for Chico's First Sunday Fly, but this is the last 3-day weekend of the season and Rhonda has wanted to do another camping trip all summer. Saturday looks like the best weather of the weekend and Jedediah Smith Campgrounds is just up the road from there.

Had a good although short time. Glad we made it before the wind died to see the SLK display, forgot their names (one was Mike as I recall) great display. I reviewed the videos I shot of you & Brett, wind was  pretty marginal by then but maybe I'll get one up, I really like the direction you guys are heading with the routines and look forward to seeing it next year and in better conditions.

In the short time we were there we witnessed a couple people stop by to pass on their admiration and appreciation for the colorful skies. You all keep it up, wish we could make it up that way more often.
