One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

We've been very good this year - Christmas appears to be coming early.  Smiley

Lam is working on a new kite.

He tells me that this one is so good that he was hesitant to produce it - I think he's worried that he can't top it's performance!   Smiley  Described it to me as being bigger than both the Fearless and Trans and also that it was designed as a team kite that delivers all the tricks.  In particular, excellent precision as a primary strength and combining the strengths of both the Transformer and Fearless.

I've seen prototype pictures - looks good with a very aggressive style.

Should be out soon, more details to follow.  I am excited to get my hands and lines on one soon!

Does this kite employ an improved and refined version of the "little bit of bridle line near the base of the spine" (LBOBLNTBOTS) ?

That's really all I care about.

DOA = Dead Or Alive.   Smiley

Sort of a put up or shut up, live or die attitude as I took it.

I have a picture, but I'm sworn to secrecy.  He may be still be tweaking things, although I am really liking how it looks.    I can't wait to get my Kung fu on!  Smiley

A large bedsheet framed with broom handles would look very capable in Lam's hands Cheesy

I invited myself to fly it as soon as Tom gets his hands on the kite.  Generous Tom graciously accepted.   Cheesy
I was told it is coming to Seattle as soon as this weekend...Cannot wait

Oh Yeah?
Just in time for the fall monsoon?  Just how generous will Tom be?   Undecided

These are very important questions.  Answers must be gotten... Embarrassed

Wait a second... what about the FearDevil SUV 3.2 ? Yesterday's news all ready ? We haven't even heard anything about that one yet. C'mon, I expect more from the guys who sold me on not one, but two Fearless...

Oh ....that one....almost forgot about it already..........smooth flyer ...............goes real low, just the ticket for the inland winds we get at the hill........It's also got that little thingy on the spine that Mike wants............Fearless are pretty darn precise as it is, but a bigger Team kite that flys tricks...........gotta fly that one..............and then, like tom says Christmas is comin' Grin.....just around the corner..........you KNOW nobody steered you wrong on your Fearlaes.............but them ten vents on the SUV are truly sublime          Huh

That link has "Dead or Alive" (video game series ) as the top result, above "dead on arrival". Maybe it doesn't for you. Google should know by now that I like video games, even if I've never played that series.

Looks like another chance to use DuckDuckGo. (They don't customize results.)

When you precede a Google search with define: you should get, stick with me here, a definition first and then whatever links they throw up. It's one of the neat tricks with The Google that a lot of people don't know about, like unit and currency conversions. If you don't get this you may need to reinstall your internets.
