One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

Your video helped me to UNDERSTAND the Comete. Any other time I've seen the trick it just looked like broken kite in a high wind.... OK, that's not fair, I've seen a few people do them nicely, but the way you split the trick up really helps. Not that I'll be able to do the trick anytime soon, but at least I understand it, now. Thanks !

Thanks Rob, I am glad you understand the each two part 1, 2 first then 3, and 4, the rest just put all together, slowly you can do it faster. Happen to me too. I have to do one step at a time, because our mind can not think and do it all at the same time. so the best way is break it a part, 1,2 then ........ 3, 4 and then 1,2, 3, 4 Smiley after you understand.

I will asking Tom Patterson to help me post the video for me, because I don;t know how. Sorry about that.

Have a nice day

I can not see it either, content unavailable, and I am on FB. UTube or vimeo would be good.

Thanks for posting the video!  That helps to simplify it. So the comete is essentially a series of half axels in quick succession?

Nice kite!

I know what you mean on the time/wind - I had my last kite for weeks before I had the time to fly it.

My new Bird is shipping out tomorrow...

Meet a new breed... The Tekken DEVIL... Where a fearless Devil meets Tekken DOA, and awesomeness ensued. Taken at Lams local Japanese Garden. I can't wait to get it in the air...
Should be here by next week sometime...
