Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Exile UL.

Leave it box stock, no weights, 100ft. lines.

Get the roll up by dropping it on it's back and then popping and slacking the lines.

Excellent low wind flyer. Plenty tricky too.

Just take your time.

Go slow.

You will be rewarded.

Well one of them isn't available yet (unless you know differently), so that limits the choice to 2 if you're buying in the immediate future.  Undecided

I'm sure none of the kitemakers would mind if you ordered one of each. They are all excellent kites in flying and construction.

When in doubt, order the one you think looks the best.  Smiley

Good point just above, you can still maybe order a kite, even if it isn't going to be made for a while. It might just help speed up the production release.  Wink

Enter VF13 and you might win a Deep Space UL (to be honest though I'm more than happy with my Talon UL).

I can't speak to the Talon, but the Exile UL is a great kite.  It has become my go-to when the winds are down and I want to fly freestyle.  I have also been using it in competion with good results.

I've flown the standard versions of all these kites but haven't flown the UL version of the Deep Space. The Talon UL is my favorite kite. I got my first Talon in January and now my kite bag consists of 3 Talons and 3 line sets. And I'm liking them more every day.

Hardly a surprise as there's not many authentic versions about. In fact.... is this the only one in the wild ? Huh It might just be.  Wink

But an entry into VF13 might bag you one. And you just have to win the draw, not the competition, so don't come to me with any of this I'm not a good enough flyer to enter VF nonsense.  Angry
