One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

So I'm at home today with nothing to do so I have an old Peter Powell stunt kite (my very first) my mom found at her house over the winter. It's in really bad shape holes in the plastic tubing that holds it together cracked fiberglass pieces of tape keeping the tubing from sliding down the fiberglass spine. So today I decided to upgrade it to carbon and gave it a new bridal. I have lots of carbon arrows so I have the equivelent to P200 for the spine and LE, something a little smaller for the spreader. It's crash course diet got it down to a weight of 182g. I hope it's as much fun as I remember ... little sucker should scream across the sky. If it can take tomorrow I may go back and restitch the sail.

Having good dreams
Mitchell

P.S. If any one remembers is the spine supposed to go all the way thru the "nose tubing" ?

Thanks
Mitchell
