Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

For those of you... reluctant... to DL the video:-

began 1st of June, ends 13th of July. Prizes include 25 in FA KiteQuids (part from Nigel/oldlfyer 'cos I overcharged him on postage and part from me), a complete set of air brakes from Kite Related Design (ie; Carl Robertshaw), 5 pairs of his straps (one pair each of every type) and a pair of Aerostuff Zen spars (new, lighter but stiffer, reassuringly expensive - the up market version of Aerostuff  Wink ) and, finally, from Benson Kites... a Deep Space.

Oh yes. It's the UL version, not yet available in shops.   Huh

A little something for everyone I think you'll agree. Many thanks for the continuing support for VF from everyone. As ever, please refer to the website for details.

Minor updates to the website, including how each prize will be won.

Three confirmed entrants to date.

As you head off for the weekend, please take a moment to consider this:

  • it'll be a custom Deep Space UL (subject to Tim being able to stomach your colour choice)
  • there will be some new, different, also rare VF mugs up for grabs too
  • OK, OK.... I'll arrange something for the newcomers too Roll Eyes

Or cultivate a friendship with someone who has one.

Well the DS that is on offer you can't buy so.....

In all honesty I don't think anyone has been publicly humiliated by their VF entry - praise the guys at the top, encourage the guys not at the top; that seems to be the way. All this I'm not good enough to enter VF talk is hog wash (which is what you use before turtle wax).

Is it the lure of the DS UL?

I'm strictly in it for the chance to win a VF mug. Anyone will be able to buy a DS UL (sometime after lunch on Tuesday) but the elusive VF mug can only be won.  Wink

34 Entries!  I think this even tops VF11 when a Talon was on the line.
