One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Got out today for a couple of hours, couldn't wait to try out the new Talon, wind was very light up here Grass Valley area, "lets see what this Kite could due" Grin I set up the kite, rolled out the new 50# line set I put together this morning, wind only about 3-4 mph, brought it up on tips, "thought to my self when I get a little gust I would launch, didn't need to wait it was just enough at 4mph to lift the the Kite by its self, Very smooth, smooth inputs smooth response, even when wind drop to almost nothing stepping backwards at an even steady pace keep the Kite up, this thing did fades and Flix Flacs with very little inputs, I'm hooked. I brought the wife with me to take some picks, but when we got to the flying field realized I left the camera at home, was at a Graduation yesterday brought it into the house to down load Pics forgot to put it back in truck Roll Eyes

Thanks for looking
John

I wish I could have, but been pretty busy this week with work, the couple of small opportunities I did have, I thought I better not try being Benjamin Franklin, not sure how these modern Kites would deal with a Lightning Strike.
I do plan on getting up to Chico this Sunday for the monthly fly, hope to see you there.

I'll bring my camera.  Wink

And since you have a new UL the wind will probably be gale force.  Cheesy
I'll bring my vent and you can give it a go.
