Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

There seems to be a little interest in a couple of trick challenges. I will post two threads to keep the tricks seperated and hopefully easier to understand how to do them. The AVFFF is so easy it's almost like falling off a log. I am not an accomplished trick flier. I only know a handfull of tricks. If I post a video and YOU don't like it, please send me a PM and we'll dicuss the reason I posted it. You will need to post a video of you doing the trick. I'll make all the rules up for Joe as I go.  Cheesy Cheesy

You know, it's funny. The AVFFF isn't that hard itself, it's just the flac with some extra slack. That's flac as in 'flic-flac'. It's the 4 in a row that kills me. Like Joe, I can do 3, but the fourth comes out all wonky. I've been trying to get four since that challenge was laid down. With the camera, I can get a couple, without the camera I've done 3 clean ones and botched the fourth. Just a mental block, I suppose.
Still trying !

Set  your goal to do 6 in a row. Then the first 5 will be easy and the mental block will kick in and you will botch the sixed one.  Cheesy

Must be murphy law. After watching my videos, I found most of my best flying was not on video or not usable.  Cry

The real crime is many of these events are rare (for me), like missing your chance to video bigfoot.  Cheesy
