Your sample full-size poster images at

8.5x11 at 300 ppi.

Do you want allowances for full bleed cropping?

Are you saying only the poster is the AKA property
or are you claiming photos used as your property also?

John,

Full bleed cropping? Sounds painful. Is that something done in the emergency room? Or do I have all wrong and it’s done in a wheat field just before harvest?

About the photos used in posters – By submitting a poster with a photo to the poster contest, the submitter relinquishes ownership of the poster and allows the AKA to use the poster any way it sees fit. The AKA cannot give John Chilese a royalty (should he be the winner) for each poster printed and or published. The NKM committee would have the right to make modifications to the poster/photo, such as in the positioning of AKA and KTAI logos or fill-in spaces. The AKA would not be obligated to put a photographer acknowledgment in the poster. Also, NKM would retain submissions for possible use as a poster in a later years for National Kite Month.

The AKA would have no claim on the actual photo used in the poster, and would not restrict the photographer from using the image elsewhere if he/she desires.
