One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Too bad the best part of the day wasn't on film... I backed up into the water while lost in flying. That put a pretty quick end to the day ! (it was around 20 degrees F)

Serious flyer you are. You have the large beach all to yourself and you walk into the water. Those waves went into stealth mode, eh?

Problem is that the beach is very narrow, about 90' from the water to the parking lot. The wind was coming straight onshore that day, and left very little room to move forwards and backwards...

BTW... Christmas wish to all of you that you can have my smooth wind the next time you go out for a fly !
