finally got to take my 12 foot ITW delta highlighter out today for its first flight, very light winds, clear blue sky, about 24C,

she pulled a bit harder at times then i expected, alot more pull than my 9 foot that i am used to, so i am very glad i did not go with the 16 foot that i was thinking about,

i used a double overhand knot and tied about a 12 inch loop in the end of my line, i put the loop through the kite ring, and then my kite reel through the loop, so i had a larks head knot directly to the kite, seemed to work well,

overall a very nice flight, about 45 mins, maximum i would say was around 500 feet, but most of the time lower due to strong pulling,

i don't know if it was just the winds today, but my 9 foot seems to be slightly more stable and predictable, but not a big deal,

thanks for everyone's help in my previous threads!  Smiley
