Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Not sure how much longer the ice will be safe for flying, but I managed a couple of hrs. on Monday. The winds were shifting around a bit and had faded from earlier in the day. Even so, it's hard to resist the fresh air, blue skies and a pleasant sunset...

Hearts in Flight for World Peace kite got some air time after returning from the Kite Party that never happened for the 11th. time...

Playing catch as catch can with a Prism Triad (thanks Doug)...

There were nice sets of clouds drifting by through the afternoon...

The Triad is a fun little trickster...

This kite was passed along from a member of a Jersey flyers club, don't know their proper name.
The windmill blades spin as it flies, the ladder tail was in need of some untangling, oh well...

The little Dutch mill along with a Rainbow Riders kiki...

It was this kiki's maiden flight, now it's a kite...

The winds were a little gusty as they shifted directions and the kiki took a nose dive...

This little hex cell is a lot of fun, and an active flyer...

The winds of the past few days sculpted wave patterns in the layered snow...

Well, maybe I'll be fortunate to have another chance to fly here before the ice breaks up...
The sunset was worth waiting around for, I love the afterglow...

Stay tuned...

This is it, the last flight  Cool
Nice breeze today, temps in the low 50's and one of the last sunny days we'll see for a while. Though it's not off the ice, it is over the ice...

LoLo back on "windicator" duty...

Rainbow Rider Kiki does the honors of last flight over the ice... Thanks again Rob  Wink

Lone rider riding the breeze...

Well, we'll see what the summer brings  Smiley Smiley Smiley
