Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Haven't looked at it yet but many android phones and tablets can be hooked to a monitor, and via bluetooth or ADB on the micro usb port they all can be setup with a keyboard, so your android phone can become the processing unit for what is basically a desktop computer. Our Razr's have something called Webtop built in and a dock that connects to a monitor, keyboard and mouse, setting it in the dock starts webtop which is a somewhat poor desktop replacement utility.

Just released there is also an open source Linux beta of a phone OS with touch support. Getting the dual boot option will be great if you can install your own distro of linux, Android is just Googles Distro of Linux basically after all. The next generation of phones are looking to have quad & 8 core processors, 32 core graphics and possibly enough Ram and Flash to make them a pretty viable central processing unit that you can grab off the home dock and stuff in a pocket.
