So...i happened to pick up a Markie Renegade last night....and was going over it and was astounded....
The bottom of the spine has more design in it than some sport kites i have seen out there...

The bridle legs go into the bottom of the fitting....and somehow wrap around the fiberglass rod that he spreaders slide onto....the fitting is made of the current-time used tubing with a smaller tubing inside of it...it also looks like the bottom of the spine has an aluminum nock insert -but without the nock on it.....the spreaders both have rubber gromits (the donut things you put on wires when they go through a hole in metal to protect them) as a way for the spine tensioning bungee to hold the spreaders into the fitting.
Just a super clean look....
