Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

got about 3 feet of the pristine stuff yesterday and last night; supposed to be up to 6" more today and after a few days reprieve, "the freezing rain"... sounds sort of like Monty Python...

Good thing you have power.

I hope we hear from Thief and the other folks on the coast. You shouldn't have these 100 year storms twice in year. Gotta talk to someone about that.

The only snow i like is in pictures.

Unlike Wayne, I also like snow in movies or nearby mountaintops.  Smiley

I think the last time I enjoyed snow there was no car involved.  You put away the motorcycle for the season and either walked or took the bus where you needed to go.

Highlights always included crunching through pristine glazed snow fields with creepers and gaiters.... oh and crab sledding (no relation to the training equipment used for football) down hills with smooth soled motorcross boots and beat up Army surplus gloves... we didn't need no stinkin' sleds.  Cheesy
