Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Hey Norm... I would say the best place to get them would be straight from Tim B. I keep meaning to order endcaps for my Gem. I destroyed both of mine on my stupid rocky beach.

Tim would be the best place but you can use Jaco standoff connectors instead.  If Steve is still on theraputic vacation you can try Jon T, Goodwinds, Kent or the other sponsors here.

Norm,

You can get them direct from Tim Benson £1 each. They are on his website:shop:spares.

Email Tim, he's a top guy and he'll get them to you no problems.

Tim is probably my best source, although they are not for my Gemini. I want to replace the APA stand-off holders Matt used on the Synthesis. I am not happy how they work.
@ Rob: I have some vinyl end caps that will fit the nocks on your Gem. I'll send you a pair when I mail your straps for the AVFFF "trick challenge".  Wink Best to replace them before you break the nocks on that rocky beach.
@ CA Ike: Can you give me a link? JACO's...I guess I'm not aware.
@ Steve: Tim and J.O.E. are both top notch and I'm lucky to have both of their kites. They both use the same type roll-bar holders, except J.O.E. (Mark) adds an addictional piece.

Here are the Jaco's I was talking about.  I know Steve had some a while back but they aren't on the site so until he gets back on his feet here's another link.  http://goodwinds.com/connectors/standoff/jaco-standoff-spreader.html
