One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Led Zepplin NEVER, Van Halen MAYBE, but you just have to love hearing Joe Satriani playing.  I especially loved his "Surfin With The Alien" album.

Nope, not even that.

Sammy Hagar is the most overrated one-hit-wonder of all time, Micheal Anthony is a better singer than he is a bass player, Chad Smith is really good but far from great, and this style of music is *not* what Satch does best.

I hope they have a good time and sucker enough people to their shows to make a ton more money.  Smiley

I listened to the new album this afternoon, gotta agree. It just sounds like a little better than generic Rawk musik.  Roll Eyes

Copying sounds from the past, easy.

Creating a new sound, makes you a supergroup.

Alot of middle-aged rock stars are trying to get a little more in the bank or some sort of retirement pkg from their fans. There's a reason why they call it youth. Bob Dylan said he could never write now the way he did when he was young-not that he could firgure out how he wrote songs in the first place.

You notice that a lot of rock groups are doubling up, even triple billing at venues to keep chargin the ticket ginormous prices their used to.

Hagar rocks, but i'm SF bay area so i guess im partial.

See yall in WSIKF

I downloaded the whole release, flight tested the whole album with an NSE and have to say I like it a lot. Of course, if you've sampled my vids you might have guessed I'm a huge Satriani fan. He's put in some nice work here, particularly on "Turnin' Left".

The day this thread started they were on Conan. Pretty nice and Conan scored one of Joe's guitars, a gift from Satch himself.  Smiley
