Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Ok, well, I had posted an "FU" video to Boston, but then decided that it was not in good taste to post an "FU" video to Boston, so I censored myself.

Yeah, I probably shouldn't have posted this here.  I can't really figure out how to delete it.  Somebody please move this to a forum where I can give the finger to Boston.

The Boston Song
Kate Klim
©2011

Iíll try walking for change
Yeah today Iím a songbird and this house is an empty cage
Itíd be easy to act my age
If I could hold down a day job like I fill up an empty page

I gave you my best years, I wrote you my best songs
Oh I stuck with you time and time again

Now Iím headed for the hills
Take the stars of Virginia for the street lights of Somerville
Just know Iíll miss you; I know I will
But youíll bounce right back thatís the one thing about you
You never stand still
You never stand still

I gave you my best years, I wrote you my best songs
Oh I stuck with you time and time again
But you broke into my car, you raised the rent
Oh Boston, you were a cold, cold friend

So goodbye skyline I wonít forget
The way you looked when we first met
Goodbye winter, goodbye snow
I canít explain Ė sometimes you just know
You just know

I gave you my best years, I wrote you my best songs
Oh I stuck with you time and time again
But you broke into my car, you raised the rent
Oh Boston, you were a cold, cold friend
Oh Boston, you are an old, old friend

ATB,
Sam

He's moving to Kentucky. It'll be good to have him around again.

Doc is a kiter... Smiley Smiley He obviously has found a new flying spot Cool Cool vs. his old spot in Boston were the trees blocked the wind Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed.  He probably had some winds coming off the bay at about 27 mph  Cry :'(on a good day.  The ole' Fu may be founded. Grin Grin  It is something we have all experienced in this sport. Undecided Undecided  How about this senerio ... Cool Cool

You have been flying for about half hour.  Grin Grin Nice beautiful day. Grin Grin  Wind 5 mph.  Suddenly your flying window is disrupted by people Huh Huh Huh wanting to picnic.  Huh Huh  You move. Lips sealed Lips sealed  Wind has changed a bit. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes  More people.  Huh Huh Then more people.  Cry Cry Cry

At this point the ole' Fu becomes apprapo.  Cool Cool The F  Cool 8)is only apppropriate when a.) failing a trick i.e. 4 AVFFF's  Cry :'(b.) crashing in water  Cry Cry :'(c.) Breaking carbon rod  Cry Cry :'(d.) Tearing a sail Cry Cry

Kentucky will offer new horizons for him.  Huge group of kiters in his area.  NASCAR track not far away... I'll be Ky in two weeks.

p.s.- Doc practice the following ..."...Ya'all...".
