Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

DONE: Post 9 teaser photos.
DONE: Receive KAP photos of Old School Shoot from Gary Mark

DONE: Receive Old School Shoot photo from Della Stroup

DONE: Download 1600 photos.

DONE: Upload batches as possible.

This may be the best KP shoot ever.
It helped to have Bambi, Sean, Gary and a few others snap shots.

I'm guessing a few people will attempt to name all the kites from
the Old School Shoot. That should be a contest unto itself.

The list of what was left home is even more staggering.

This may become an annual event.

Start the Wayback Machine Sherman.  Huh

I feel like a piece of me was there... picture #32 looks like my Solus. It just doesn't look right in the sun, that's my fog kite...

Thank you for the pictures, John, they came out great (as usual). The web cam is nice, but you really capture the moments and it's nice to see the details.

Sleeping with the Aura... JT is one really nice guy.  He was realy excited to present that kite to you... I picked th spider.  i thought it was the best for a guy who deserves it.  I usually go to the local Italian "Ventiamilia" store and get Jon and Marianne two giant Dago Subs ... Italian cheese and meats.  In your choice of Italian buns.  or loaf of bread.  It's the only way I have found to repay him for kind deeds.  JT is always being thoughtful and caring.  Great Guy.  Sleep well you deserve her.

600 photos left.

Still very little text.

Please add names or comments to the photos

and I will transfer the data to the picture.

Contrary to popular belief, I do not know

every person and kite.

The Spider Aura has landed in Las Vegas.
I may sleep with it tonight.

My wife has been understanding of my kite addiction. Wink

However, the day I bring a kite to bed will be the end of my kite collection.
