Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Watching an almost empty field on Sunday morning. I'm sorry to see what looks like a weak off shore breeze, but maybe there will be some SULs out to play later. I'm all ready back from my Sunday morning fly, you guys aren't even up yet !  Shocked

Today better than yesterday, warm, steady wind from the ocean, flew a three stack of Chicage Fire Bee's, and the 7-stack of Nexus  only calm wind was when Ben Lumas (11yrs) preformed the last demo's of the day,

The wind picked up during the mass ascension and finished strong.... full vent REV's   everywhere

Another better that last year event... only 360 days (for me) until KP12

Well, I missed Kite Party. What is the world coming to?

Upside is it looks like my bug has been diagnosed and I'm already feeling much better. Even flew on the beach in Pacific Grove for a few minutes yesterday.  Huh

As much as I like Kite Party, the scenery leaves something to be desired. Asilomar Beach is awesome!

Zero to maybe 5

Should have had the 2PT version out instead of the 3PT. The gusts were glorious, though.  Cool

Oh man, what are you doing on Thurs. or Friday? I really really need to experience beach wind before it picks back up to rip-roaring extremes.

Sorry, working Thurs & Fri. Gotta pay for being out sick so much.

The way to get low beach wind is get up early. At many, if not most, NoCal beaches the really good flying is before 11.  What this means for you is getting up at like 5AM.  Cheesy

Something like this: 7:30AM, SUL.  8:30, UL.  11:30, Std.  2PM, Hang On!   Wink

Snot. Well I'd miss all the traffic- that would be worth it all by itself.
