Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Well I have the time, materials, and the place so i am starting my first kite build.
I will build a Le Quartz. I have downloaded the plans, cut every thing out, and made templates out of hard board now I am ready to cut the rip stop.
I plan on making at least two of these kites. Hoping one will be good and the other better.

I have the rip stop cut and one side glued up. I have experienced no big problems.
I will be out of town for a few days. I will try to get some pictures when I get back. It is very easy to forget about pictures in the heat of the battle.  Wink

Where did you purchase the RS Nylon.  I would like to hear about your build results and working with the material.
