One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

My wife has been understanding of my kite addiction. Wink

However, the day I bring a kite to bed will be the end of my kite collection.
Somehow that doesn't sound as bad as John King taking a shower with his. Grin

I feel like a piece of me was there... picture #32 looks like my Solus. It just doesn't look right in the sun, that's my fog kite...

Thank you for the pictures, John, they came out great (as usual). The web cam is nice, but you really capture the moments and it's nice to see the details.
Yep that was your solus Rob so now you can say you  were involved with KP Tongue

Wow thanks!
This was not a kite party... this was a kite orgy to me! (Oops! sorry)
I have never seen so many kites together and in such diversity of shapes, styles, colors and flying types...
I would just go nuts if I were there...   Huh

Great pictures.
Thanks for showing them!

Yes, as always, a fine collection of photos.  Perhaps one of these years I'll get to kite party myself. (Might even bring a kite or two!) thanks for sharing.
