After looking at the wonderful pictures the Mr. Chilese put out of KP11... am I the only one that thinks the pics of the new Premier Widow NG are stunning.  That for sure is going to be my next STD kite.  What else do you all think?  Wow-what a great looking kite?

It flies and tricks very well.

Construction is very good also.

Yes, it is sharp looking too.

I like both color schemes.  Smiley

Not sure I find the new graphics any more pleasing then the originals (which I never found to be as bad as many made them out). If it performs as good as the original, which was very similar to the twice the price Skyburner Widowmaker except at the low end, it's an unbeatable value.

Patience youngn'.  I just spent a day with the first NG prototype and it is going to be worth the wait.  I'll post up a review soon and see if Jon has any idea when it will be out.  The graphics are a hit with the people at my usual field but funny thing is more women were drawn to it than any other kite i've flown out there(except for my white/purple eclipse). Something about the artsy look of the kite.  One lady commented that it reminded her of a modern art painting.  ITs still no widowmaker but it's dangerously close.

If your interested in the kite Call Jon... set yourself in line.  This kite has been in the making for almost a year...Graphics were the first change.  However,Jon re-vamped the briddle system and stand offs.  The kite fly's and tracks like it's Big Brother.  The color scheme's are great..Took Wayne a few times to get em' right. The Proto's flew well, but after Jon re-worked everything.  Dynamite Kite ...

Price... "... Fo Getta'bout it...".  This Kite is a steal at this price.

I watched the work and effort put into making this kite a winner.  Test after Test ... change after change.  Hours of work and flying before he put his O.K. on it.  To know Jon T is to know he is relentious to perfection when building a kite.

Always making small changes to make it right.  This kite the "Widow".  for all that was put into it's building is what you spend your hard earned money on.

No doubt I'll have one in my bag.  Why Huh?   Why Not Huh  Because it's probably the Best Deal available for the money... The Yellow is looks Great.  Call the store order it today... ask Marianne

Just remember kids.

It isn't quite at the same level as the Widow Maker,

nor made in the states by Skyburner.

But it is a very nice kite for the money.

Like the new graphics, but understand that the original graphics were meant to evoke the jointed nature of arachnid limbs.

Thanks for the review CA Ike!  Wish I could have seen a video of you tricking the kite... you guys are all really making me hurt really bad for this kite.  I love the heck out of my Freestylist UL, but there are days when a STD would be an added benefit.  I think this one's going to be my next aquisition fo'sho!

I haven't had time to get out and fly the last couple weeks and before that it was just getting familiar with the kite.  If I hadn't busted the axle on my truck and gotten a small spring spring start up rush on top of it I'd have some better footage for a vid than I got.  I'll get one done soon though but truck and work comes first.  I'll tell ya though, if you like the Freestylist ul you would really like the std as well.  THat is one of the underrated gems in Jon's line up and probably the best boutique set for the money.
