Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the reply. I fly at the home field of the Great Lakes Kitefliers Society-mainly single line flyers and 4 liners. The field is in Gratwick Park, next to the Niagara River on River Road in N Tonawanda. As long as its not a North wind, it's a great place to fly (plus it's 5 minutes from my house). The club normally has one fly during the summer at the reservoir for Niagara County Kids Day- last summer the fields were tore up so we couldn't fly there (even the planes had to move).

If you're coming up at the end of the summer and have some time please let me know. I'm retired so could meet you when ever you have a few minutes to spare.

Where does Rudy fly? I'd sure like to meet up with him, it'd be fun to fly with someone else.

Been reading more posts on the forum and didn't realize that these challenges have been going on for awhile. Hard for us Northern flyers to hold interest when the fields are white, wet and or muddy. Today I'm going to attempt the AVFFF challenge and practice the fade challenge. It's fun heading to the field to fly and attempt a new trick, especially when there's a forum available to help you learn that trick.
