Beautiful Beach behind that beautiful yellow Breeze kite.....
Years ago...I was given a beautiful bright Yellow BadBoy Logo;d Vantage Point SUL by Paul DeHope. He passed this life waaaaaaaay to soon but everytime I have "this kind of a light wind perfect day to fly...I keep remembering Paul's words..when he was near the end of his life...

"Don, Nothing eases pain better or troubles of the day  than to take one of your best low wind kite, look up into a bright blue sky...attach extremely long lightweight flying lines...turn up the music...and become one with your kite and the wind."

So in those last days of his life...his beloved wife and choro Pairs partner, would take him out to the beach, sit him in a chair....turn up the music and fly that beautiful old yellow Vantage Point and although too weak to fly himself...he always told us that nothing eases pain or trouble better than to look up into that big blue sky...(like the song says) "Between the Earth and the Sky, where Angels Dare to Fly."

Recently...I lost my twin sister ...and also a Dear Friend...who just happens to own that home right there behind these two light wind kites. I took this photo, just a few weeks after he too had passed this life.
Moral...if there is one???
NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT A KITE IN THE CAR!...AN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF GREAT FLYING CONDITIONS WHEN YOU CAN. Wink

Norm...
Thanks for the kind words...Uh???
I see we also share another brand of kite......So far I can't begin to label MY newer Slippery Fox a UL or a legit light wind kite, however in higher winds this kite can be "QUITE ENTERTAINING?"

Yes, not only the Fox, but I also have the "red" Shadow. I see your SF is the 2.5 UL. No, they are not "true" UL's, but are very good trickster and a lot of fun to fly.

Norm...Ya  can't possibly have one of these in your bag? If you do...We must have the same addictions for the same brand of sport kites or you just might be my long lost younger brother that my Arkansas grandpappy traded for a good Coon Hound Dog when he was only 2 weeks old? Smiley His first name was "Mark"
