One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I will be going to Watertown from May 19th through July 3rd.

I will be free weekends and will be looking for places to fly and people to fly with.

If you are in the area or within a few hours, let me know and perhaps we can meet.

If you know of a good field in the area, please (!!!) let me know.

I think it's all fields . . . . I don't recall many trees.  I was there once for a week about 13 years ago, and I wasn't flying kites back then . . . so my memory may be a bit unreliable.  Good luck.

By the way, there's a kite festival in Jamestown, ND the weekend of June 8-9th.  I'll be there along with 180Go!/IKE members.  According to google maps, that's about 3.5 hours from Watertown.

That would have been great.  Unfortunately, I will be going home that weekend.  Otherwise I'd be all over that!!

I have heard it is windy.  Vented REV and Vented QPro...welcome to SD!
