I just found a stray lineset marked 50daN X 25m.  What strength does 50daN equal?

the easy answer is it's 112lb line.

dekanewton or decanewton (daN) is a metric unit of force measurement.

I just found a stray lineset marked 50daN X 25m.  What strength does 50daN equal?

1 kg = 0.981 daN

1 kg = 2,205 lbs

=> 50 daN = 112 lbs

Duhhh, decanewton.  Why didn't I think of that?  I even took a physics class a couple of years ago.  I was thinking it was some foreign language thing.  Thanks to all who answered.
