Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Is it just me or has any one else had trouble getting Gmail to open?  Started yesterday.  About 50% of the time it fails to load and I get the following:

This is taking longer than usual. Try reloading the page.
If that doesn't work, you can:

   1. Disable Labs and try again.
   2. If you're on a slow connection, try basic HTML view.
   3. For more troubleshooting tips, visit the help center.

Try cleaning out your history and see if that helps. I am not having problems right now but did a few weeks ago and that hellped me out then.

Now that I think about it ...
started when the Firefox 3.5 beta was updated to 3.5 preview.  Only happens when I access via Gmail notifier.  Think I answered my own question.

You get what you pay for...

Sometimes you pay way to much for a beta. Dumb things like this.

Use a normal browser.

I'm serious. When you have a web product like Gmail that's in constant development (beta) you need a stable platform so issue aren't compounded. Why multiply your trouble using a beta browser?

Not at all, I'm typing this on Safari 4 Beta on Mac, and I'm running Windows 7. But that's 'cause I get paid to.

Running betaware for fun is kinda sick.   Roll Eyes

I've been using Windows 7 for several months now and am very happy with it.
Unlike Vista (aka Win ME 2.0), I'd actually buy a new computer running it without wanting to instantly format it and install XP.

It doesn't matter what browser or OS: FF, IE, Safari, Mac, Win XP, Win 7.  IMO it doesn't work as well as it used to.

I'd install Windows 7 in a minute but sadly my graphics card is not up to it.

Remind me that I may be able to fix that problem for you.  Smiley
