One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I got mine thursday...my video does nobody justice so i wont post it, but it did show 2.5-3.5mph on the wind meter and the kite flying and tricking. There is No oversteer at all. Build quality and attention to detail is great! The new yoyo stops work great and haven't got caught during my usual limited tricks.
Overall... Very solid kite, great graphics, heavier than i thought but fly's as low, if not lower than the Zephyr. Loves to lock into turtles with nice lazy's! Wish i had good wind yesterday for it... 0000-4mph with 180degree direction changes.

Any comparison to "non eyeball" kites? Any external weights?  Who is making the sail?

ATM UL...

Now i just need some time off and a nice breeze. She did get some airtime today but the wind was almost non existant. I don't think the Zephyr would have been up for it.

I got some time on it today.

Short version:  It's the full-on Lam kite experience with no compromises due to it's lower price.

Everything is there and easy, no oddities, if-ands-or-buts.  I've flown it in super low wind as well as 10 and liked it in both.  I can't wait to get it in some smooth lab grade stuff, hopefully soon!

One thing to mention for sure, Lam has cracked the easy-peasy Taz with this one.  All his kites Taz, and beautifully, but not always as easily as this one does.  Great work there and no side effects that I could find.

I'd say this kite is about perfect except for its lack of eyes!  Smiley.   For all you holding out for a Lam kite without eyes, this is it.  I guess I will just have to get used to the fact that the kite is not watching me!  Smiley

Nice colors Tom!

I can't wait to tug on it a bit. Tongue

Well, at least the bag has the famous eyes ! The more I fly my kites with eyes, the more I like the eyes... They give a good visual reference point as to which way the kite is pointing while doing tricks. Don't get me wrong, I really like the 2 Lam kites that I have that don't have eyes, too.
