Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Hmmm... I wonder why I like this one in fluo green, black, white and transparent...  Wink
No, it is fluo yellow, black, white and Mylar. It is a standard version. The one on the snowy field is an UL with green instead of yellow. Both sails are made by Christian Derefat himself.

I am a bit surprised to find my pics here BTW.  Embarrassed

I will remove the two images immediately.  Since we have an actual owner of said kite may we have your opinion on its flight characteristics and trickability.  It would be great to get first hand experience on piloting this design.

I've removed my entry on one of those pictures too.
Cheers.

Please think of the use of your pictures as a compliment.
Yes, they should have given you a photo credit.
But, their intent was pure and they did so with no chance of
profiting monetarily from the pictures.

Think how you would feel if you found your photos used on sites
to promote sales without permission or credit.

That has happened to many a photographer here and even caused
Rob Vreeland to change his subject matter from kites to pets. A great
loss to kiting. He took excellent photos, used in magazine ads and internet
store sites with no remuneration offered or permission asked.

My apologies if anyone has been offended by the pictures I've posted.  All of these pics were referenced from the other forum where they are viewable by the public. It is not always clear who took the picture to begin with.  Let me know your preference, please send me a pm with a description of your picture and I will either remove it or give credit.

Oh, what a mess! Sorry! No, please leave them attached in this thread. I was just really surprised to find my kites in here, because I had posted them in the other forum (and the pics are so far from being good...). But I had put them to the other forum, so they are public, I fully agree. So my apologies for making a fuss of it.

Getting back to the Monster: It is a great kite, feels a bit like the Vortex, but is more precise while still having the Derefat feel. Have fun with yours and I think it's worth a built!

So your going to make me one?

 Cheesy

nope.  but I encourage any kiter to give building a try.

Dang ...there's no way I can keep up with you! The Essence 'was' next on my list for builds but this one is very promising ...especially in light of the fact that Christian Derafat designed it!

oh nice!  I really like the all white design.  I'm currently delayed on my own build, as I'm trying to get some equipment together to better document the process.  Some more interesting video is my hope (I'm pretty new to video creation, so all will be experimental!)
