One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I've been looking for a bag for awhile now. Not too many around and then when you do find them there isn't a lot of spec info. Pictures are never enough to really get a sense of them, either.

I am liking the looks of this SkyDog bag. My only real objection would be the placement of the shoulder strap connectors (rings?). All the way down to the ends of the bag- hefting it over one shoulder and tilting one end toward the ground like I usually do wouldn't work. I'd be dragging the thing on the ground.

Looking around at the descriptions for the MLD bag, it looks like you have to purchase the shoulderstrap separately... and who knows where the connectors are? I don't much like the colors, either.

I finally researched ski bags. Ron Gibian had a very cool one (actually a snow board bag) at the San Ramon kite festival last weekend. It was too large for me, but the thing had wheels! I finally found a good deal online at Level Nine Sports. $30. No pockets, but some padding and was the right length for me. Supposed to arrive today, but am heading to work in a few - will report back when I see it.

Goldilocks, who wants a bag that is just right.

2 revs and 3 other kites along with the zephyr case... I think i can get 9 or 10 in there comfortably.

Side pockets have TONS of room for everything you see plus I can probably get another Snapshot or 2 in the big pocket.

Worked great at Grand Haven! pretty compact and great shoulder strap.
Seems like field hockey bags are the PERFECT size for REVS! Smiley
