We've been selling these for a while now, it is an awesome bag for a very affordable price.  It has four pockets, two on each end on the outside similar to the older MLD bags.  The construction is very good and the bags have been holding up great, we've not seen any issues with them as of yet.

It doesn't have quite the padding that some of the other bags have such as the Vector or the Flying Wings bags but that is nice if you are looking for a bag that is lighter to carry around.  The pockets are just open pockets and plenty big to hold just about anything you would need to take to the kite field.  The bag should comfortably hold about 10-12 kites.  It has grab handles and also comes with a shoulder strap, overall length is 72".  MSRP is $58.00.

Only color option is Black with red pockets.

Could you elaborate on that?  No zippers?  no velcro?  No retention in the pocket as a result of fabric overlap (similar to how the "diamond pattern" sleeves function)?

Only color option is Black with red pockets.
What all the well dressed meerkats where to formal functions.  Wink

According to various descriptions of this bag, the pockets are zippered. Maybe Kent just meant that they aren't divided into sections for things like winders.

Makes much more sense... had terrible pictures of orphan kite winders  Cry ....

As opposed to kite winders contributing to the delinquency of other kite winders  Huh , which is wont to happen in pockets without dividers.

Not too big a deal... that's what line bags are for.

and i would guess a lot lighter material.....Rudy used great cordura for the MLD bags..........the bags that are like them from NT and other companies have much lighter material than MLD.....and generally some coating that rubs right off too....

From the picture, kind of reminds me of the old New Tech kite bag (which only has 2 pockets)
I have one of the new tech bags, no padding, but it works very well.

I also bought a ski bag at a sports store when the New Tech bags were hard to find.  It works ok, but has no outside pockets and was a bit long.   I would rather have the Sky Dog or New Tech bags.

Yes to the above, all four pockets have nice zippers on them to keep all your gear inside, just not individual dividers inside the pockets for various things such as linesets etc...  The material is pretty good quality and I would have to guess that it is close to the same quality of the MLD bags.  The strapping is done very well, the handles go all the way around the bag instead of just being sewn onto the sides so there is virtually no way for the handles to get pulled off over time.  Overall, I would say it is a very nicely built bag for a very good price.  Personally I think the red/black colors are a bit nicer looking than the sea/powder-blue colors of the MLD.

Hmm... I think I found the web site you mentioned. The page shows $55, but when you click on the link all the bags are $69.75??? Strange.
