Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I refer the Right Honourable Member to my previous answer.

Think I'll go fly my black rainbow Vapor with a 100 ft tube tail in honor of Mike.

I think you've thoroughly misunderstood the concept of honouring someone  Angry (not to mention misspelling it).

Mike,
each to their own..... I suppose.

oh ok, so that means I should put TWO tails on my foil.   LOL
Seriously though, I totally understand your point and agree with it.   I used my snapshot with the tail at first because it was on it when I got it, it got tangled in the bridle on the second flight.  So I could definitely see where it would be  a problem on a real stunt kite. I wound up taking it off because I thought the little streamer looked generic.   I think tube tails are really neat to look at (at least in the videos I've seen them in) but I wouldn't try them on a stunter.

I use "honor" to honor Honor Blackman.

You chaps across the pond think it's all about "U".  Smiley

Although for Diana Rigg, I'd put in the U.

Nice answer...in the context of freestyle flying. I remain unconvinced regarding parafoils.

Freestyle is probably a bad fit, but ballet might be doable.  Sadly not pursued more actively... at least not in the US.
