Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Haven't figured out how to link the pic in my mind to the forum so a brief remembrance will have to do... Circa 2001.

Marcia had made a batch of her wonderful blueberry pancakes  Tongue, her daughter Claire and I were moping up the last of the maple syrup when someone made mention of the pleasant morning and, oh, by the way we have something for you...
No formalities such as wrapping etc. here, just a straight forward presentation of a crisp white priority mail package. Well, I must say, I was one tearful dude as I sat there and unfolded a spankin' new WindDance 2 sporting the same lime green sail as the one I had for a p.c. desktop pic. Man, what a supprise!!! I was speechless to say the least.
That kite was more fun than I had experienced on the end of two lines. Up 'till then we had a couple os Sam's Club specials banging around on the grade school playground. It was a challenge dealing with our usually bumpy winds "folding like a cheap suit" was not an uncommon occurrence in those winds but it didn't take long to learn to pump 'er up and away again. At 112, Marcia really had to dig in her heals when the winds picked up... Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Sold that kite a couple of years ago to a 76 yr. young flyer who wanted to round out his stable of WindDancers...
Somewhere around Joplin, Mo. flying just ahead of those tornadic winds...

Happy fathers day to all who toil an sweat to give their families a good life...
Good winds to you all...
