One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Anyone have any links for camera mounts for kites.  Just started playing with mounting cameras on sport kites and want to also try using a lifter kite and inline camera platform to take higher quality images/videos.  I just used a crude process of clipping my smartphone to the center T area of a large sport kite, but I am sure there are more secure methods.  The videos I made were terrible as the phone bounced everywhere.  Would love to find more info on process of mounting.  I'll still keep trying to look up KAP sites.

And whoever told me "Don't worry about using camo carbon tubes, as no one will be able to see them from behind."  Lies!!!  Cheesy

Kabel, that's pretty sweet.  I may consider doing something similar for a GoPro camera.

Gee Sugarbaker, that is not "pretty sweet", that is a hell of an invention!
Only a German engineer could have done that with such a clean and optimized finish and precision!

Great contraption Kabel!

I have one of these, and it still bounces pretty bad, but I always thought it would be cool to shoot aerial video from a stable platform while the Stunt kite puts on its show.

I am working on another method of doing this though
