Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Based on another thread.....

List sport kites you find attractive

based on shape, panel layout, whatever.

Here is my list. It may change over time.

Mamba (the most versatile panel layout ever)
TrickTail UL
Masque series
Opium
Vanishing Point
Widow Maker
Paradox
Vapor
Talon (thanks jaydub)

Paradox shown:

The list of kites I find truly ugly is very long.
Although all Revs, sadly, are on the list.
Not the art on some of them, just the kite itself.

Talon
Nirvana
Opium
Gemini

We all (quite validly) have differing opinions.  The WM wouldn't even make an exceedingly long short list of mine. Wink

Long shot but was that once Dave Lindgren's kite?
The day we made our Minis Chris had run out of the darkest blue so I remember Dave going for  a black panel on the left, and I went for white.

Odd the things you remember nearly 15 years later  Cheesy

That Midi 98 panel layout is one of my favourites

Back on topic, not a great photo but my Blue Ridge Kites Cathedral looks lovely when the evening sun shines through it
