One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Any good stunt kite back in the 1990s, with a straight leading edge and no leach line, make some good noise.  The Top of the Line Hawaiian Team Kite and North Shore Radical are great choices.  Just make sure the design uses standoffs.  Sorry I can make any additional recommendations, since all my 1990s kites were quiet.

If you do get NSR's, re-frame them with Rev 4 wrap rods and you will be amazed.

I flew Gamelord's reframed NSR and was amazed.  Huh

Have not reframed mine, but is one my list of future projects.

My Chicago Fire Bee's & Flames are pretty loud.

Agree I have a stack of Fire Bee's, and my Griffin stack has good sound but the Bee's are louder

Most of TOTL early kites are quite loud,

I would add the Geo Sport, the Force 10, a nice crisp Fire Dart and a Bob Child's Wizard to this loud list as well!!

Great stuff and happy winds!!     Grin

NSR and most of the Masque series would be my first choice,

partially because I also like the way they look.

Of the still produced kites, the Level One Gentleman is also extremely loud when tuned for precision.

Couldn't find a video without music, guess that is for a reason Smiley

But here you can hear it over the music.

BTW: this Kite is a loud one too (take a look \/ ). If you give him 50 Meters line you have a fantastic pair kite - we had flown Pair with a Fury and a Hugo. It works fine.

Get Jon to have a couple Widowmakers made up with straight leading edges (No taper and no spine curvature) and no leach line. Leave the Mylar and binding off the trailing edge and just do a double fold trailing edge with patches for the standoffs, They should roar fine plus the added drag would add precision and slow the kites for team work while keeping the tricks. Love some half axels or cascades in the center when the kites are coming right at each other.
