Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I recently moved to Half Moon Bay (south of San Francisco) and while enjoying the somewhat narrow beaches I had flown on before, I discovered a recently established county park right on the cliffs. Bigger than a football field and not just underutilized, not utilized at all. Prevailing winds come across the bay entirely unobstructed.  And it's a few blocks from my house. Life is good.   Grin

Oh my! "a few blocks from my house" I wished I could say that!
Indeed "life is good" is the correct definition for your situation.

Very lucky to find such a nice spot. Beach winds with having to clean sand out of your kites every time you fly.

Of course, the beach doesn't have hundreds of gopher holes.  Sad

Oh well, who said paradise is perfect?  Wink Wink
