One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Thanks again Krijn!

Now, I just need to stick and bridle it!

I am loving how this kite looks in teal with the pin striping - so sharp!

It's a standard.   Would make a nice companion to your recent UL!  Smiley

Hmm, this wasn't intended as a joke...  Cheesy

The velcro as upperspreader-patch is an adhesive velcro: first put your sticks in and than tape it in the right place on the kite (got this tip from Sixth Sense-designer Davide Equizzi).

On my UL the sewed on patch was 1 cm too low... I enlarged the piece and everything is hidden now, but better to be right the first time!

I am feeling energetic and Dihong wants to fly my kite this Sunday.

So, what's the recommended framing and bridle specs?

I am partial to Skyshark which I have plenty on-hand.

Sugarbaker lives only a few blocks from me so I can ge some expert help if needed, but I've framed and bridled a few kites, so I think I'm up for it.

Anyone have the details from DavidE?

Thanks, Tom

Thank you my friend!

Looks like I am off to Good Winds Friday morning for some BDN sticks!

One question.   What are lengths ABC on the bridle?

Is A up? B out?, C in?

It's somewhat easier since 2 are the same measurement.  Is the longest leg to the center T?

A is out, B is up

C is the long one to the centre

Here in Italy we consider A - up, B - out, C - in
In the S.S. it doesn't matter just because A and B are equal but if they were different if you do invert A and B bridle comes wrong
